MVP

An MVP is the smallest release that lets real users complete a meaningful job, so you can learn whether the product deserves a larger investment.

What it means

A useful MVP is not a half-built product. It is a focused slice with clear success metrics, production-quality foundations for that slice, and a plan for what you will measure after launch. Fake doors and clickable prototypes can inform an MVP, but they are not the MVP itself.

When buyers ask about it

Teams usually raise MVP when budget is constrained, the problem is still fuzzy, or stakeholders disagree on which features matter. The conversation should pin down the primary user, the one job to be done, and what evidence would justify expanding scope.

How Techoice approaches it

We size MVPs through discovery and the scope estimator, then protect the cut with a written milestone plan. If you need a broader platform later, we design the first release so the architecture can grow without a rewrite.
