This policy explains what cookies and similar storage we use on the public Techoice website, why we use them, and how you can manage your choices.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage entries used to remember preferences. Some cookies are set by us; others may be set by services we rely on (for example authentication providers on admin pages only).
Public marketing pages work without non-essential cookies. Theme preference may be stored locally when you use the theme toggle. Analytics and marketing scripts load only after you grant the matching category in the cookie banner.
The /admin area uses strictly necessary session cookies set by Supabase to keep administrators signed in after Google authentication. These cookies are not used to track general visitors and are not set when you only browse public pages.
Your cookie choices (accept all, reject non-essential, or per-category preferences) are stored in a first-party consent cookie and in localStorage so we can honour them on return visits and update script loading without requiring a full page reload.
The public chat widget stores a session token in your browser sessionStorage so you can continue a conversation during the same browsing session. This is not a cookie and is not sent to third-party advertisers. Clearing site data or closing the browser tab may end the session; you will need to accept the chat notice again to start a new conversation.
When you accept analytics (or choose the analytics category), we may load Google Analytics to measure anonymous page views and selected conversion events such as booking steps. No personal data is included in event payloads. If you reject analytics, those scripts are not loaded and no analytics requests are made.
When you accept marketing (or choose the marketing category), we may load Meta Pixel and Google Ads conversion tags to measure ad performance and attribute leads or bookings to campaigns. These tags may set third-party cookies. If you reject marketing, those scripts are not loaded and no advertising measurement requests are made.
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect admin sign-in if you use /admin. For public browsing, blocking non-essential cookies should not prevent reading our pages or submitting forms.
